Dr. Kate Bobholz was very thorough and this is the first time I’ve been happy with my hearing aids. She took time to make sure I had the best instruments for my hearing loss. I previously had Beltone Hearing aids and then I also has an in the ear Starkey. My new ones are superior and I’m very happy with them. –MB

Can I hear better? D*** right. I even bought a couple of new CDs to listen to. Howlin’ Wolf rolls out of my speakers once again. I can hear tweety birds when I walk to work and I have renewed ability to hear every pointless, self serving utterance that emanates from my boss.
Are my instruments comfy?
Yes, indeed. They’re dinky and pretty unnoticeable as well. Finding the clinic was easy enough, people were pleasant enough and the only area for improvement would be a disassociation from the miserable trolls at Humana. That, and some Cheetos to munch when I had to wait. Kate was my Audiologist and she did a fine job. Takes a lot of patience to put up with opinionated old farts like me. All in all, as we say down South, “you done good”. I offer sincere thanks. –DS
What do you like best about your hearing aids:
High quality, good warranty, super good power when needed on different channels (programs), especially the ear holders that fit in the ear to keep them in place.
How have hearing aids made a positive influence in your life?:
The different settings for sound. I can hear the birds sing again. They pick up sounds that have been forgotten.
How would you describe the service and care you have received from the staff at Hudson Hearing?:
A very friendly, caring people who go the limit to answer one’s questions and they always get the job done, leaving a satisfied customer.

“I am a 65 year old male with a 75 percent across the board hearing loss. I have been wearing hearing aids since age 29, mostly behind the ear models as to the power that has been needed in them. I got new aids about 2 years ago and as with all older aids everything seemed just loud. I had a hard time with the answering machine at home, hearing in church, tv, crowds etc. December of 2010 Carrie Bell recommended me to the new Oticon AGXO K220 hearing aids, explaining to me the advantages of a total different platform of operation, also more natural sounding with everything.
I took a pair on trial and immediately upon wearing them, I knew I finally found something that will really work well. Due to my amount of power I had some feedback problems and had to go to a molded ear molds which solved that problem. I basically have had some minor tweaking with them, but overall they have been wonderful. I can hear well in a resturaunt, church, tv, phone. I have run into very few situations that I have not been able listen and hear. I find at church in our dining hall with the large cathedral ceiling I can hear in bible study now as well. My aids are set up with 2 modes, one for volume and one for telephone volume. My left aid runs the volume and the right aid has the mode switch on it. There are times I actually will turn my volume down a couple notches but I can still hear well. I have lots of respect for Carrie if you decide to work with her. You will find her professional, and very caring in dealing with your hearing problems. I wish you well in your search for a hearing solution, take a hard look at the Oticon I have and you will not be sorry you chose it.
